Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the organization for mobilizing the local church in missions in the Church of the Nazarene and the denomination’s representative for missions on the district and in the local church.
The purpose of this organization shall be to mobilize the Church of the Nazarene in missions through 1) praying, 2) giving, 3) educating, 4) engaging children and youth.
We at NBNAZ participate in both global and local missions in a variety of ways.
There are opportunities for the people of God to be "hands on". You may not be called to be a missionary, but you can GO and SERVE.
At NBNAZ, we provide two opportunities for short-term mission trips.
- Spring Break Trip
Each even year we coordinate a trip to take place during Spring Break. This trip will involve minimal travel and minimal cost. We try to arrange projects that are family-friendly so that children can help. We have a monthly fundraiser (Muffins for Missions) and use the proceeds to pay for project expenses (building materials, etc.) and assist with scholarships to help people participate.
- Africa - Noah's Farm
We also work closely with Noah's Farm and try to coordinate a Fall trip to Zimbabwe, Africa to assist with a larger project they may have. The project may consist of construction, VBS, and medical missions.

The World Evangelism Fund fuels the Church of the Nazarene’s mission by combining each person’s and church’s gift together to fund ministries everywhere. Every church is asked to give a portion of their yearly funds for the purpose of making Christlike disciples in the nations.

Alabaster (February and September)
The Alabaster Offering provides funds for property and buildings around the world. While we understand the church consists of the people of God and not a building, buildings erected for the purpose of ministry help provide a sense of permanence, functionally enhance ministry efforts, and convey an attitude that the Church of the Nazarene intends to "put down roots."
Alabaster funds are to be used for new churches to:
• Purchase a property or church building
• Purchase or build a church parsonage
• Build a church building
• Conversion of a property into a church gathering space
• Meet initial costs for renting a church meeting space for a limited period
Alabaster funds may also be used to:
• Purchase or build missionary homes
• Purchase or build regional or field missions facilities
• Build or repurpose buildings on Bible college campuses
Alabaster is a tangible example of sacrifice and a life in love with our Savior. Alabaster is known wherever Nazarenes are in the world. It is actually an NMI brand. Nazarenes know that contributions are used to construct buildings and to purchase land. Churches of the Nazarene everywhere are encouraged to participate by giving something to Alabaster each year.
The collection boxes also serve as reminders to pray for those people who will benefit from Alabaster buildings.
